Job Overview

This is a once-in-a-lifetime chance to own performance and direct response copywriting for a hyper-growth business by developing engaging, functional, and high-converting content for advertising, landing pages, whitepapers, e-books, and blog posts. Feels Good is a product-driven growth firm that has spent no money on marketing and has grown entirely organically and virally as customers found, grew to love, and spread our software.

Our solution is unusual in that it is highly configurable; it may be used for really simple to quite complicated use cases. It will be your responsibility to ensure that you own the copy for all new and existing marketing initiatives. You’ll collaborate with members of the marketing team and play a crucial role in strategizing and bringing to life copy across important assets. You’ll write content for a variety of client groups across a variety of verticals and mediums.

You thrive on simplifying difficult information by expertly distilling the core idea into a few compelling phrases. You have considerable expertise creating online content that inspires action by conveying the appropriate message at the appropriate stage of the user journey. You are a skilled storyteller who understands how to transform consumer requirements, pain points, preferences, and goals into engaging experiences, and you consistently create high-quality content.

You’re enthusiastic about writing and understand how to motivate others with your words. You understand how to write effective advertising content, how to construct emails that drive users to the next step, and how to produce blog articles that reduce complicated material into succinct takeaways.

  • Previous experience engaging with stakeholders, designers, and producers to ascertain the requirements for a new copy and delivering numerous versions for testing.
  • Analyze analytics to determine the efficacy of written copy and iterate fast on successful content.
  • Edit and rewrite existing text, demonstrating a good grasp of performance/growth best practices.
  • Thorough grasp of performance media concepts, including channel-level best practices for crafting headlines and CTAs that capture attention, make a clear argument, and convert.
  • Contribute innovative content ideas, user experience improvements, and editorial possibilities.
  • Promote editorial excellence and adhere to standards and best practices in order to ensure consistency in terms of quality, voice, and style.
  • At least five years of marketing experience, including direct copywriting.
  • Demonstrated ability to create and position content in order to convert leads and meet marketing program objectives.
  • Demonstrates an ability to create clear, succinct, and grammatically accurate content in a brand's language and tone across numerous brand touch-points efficiently and effectively.
  • A digital-first approach and a user-centric, strategy-driven approach to writing that cuts through jargon and fluff to reveal the core narrative.
  • A strong portfolio showcasing relevant, inspired writing examples and a systematic approach to content production.
  • Capable of thriving in a fast-paced, constantly changing, and highly collaborative workplace; and contributing with additional marketing, customer service, and corporate tasks as needed.
