  • Manage the translation process from start to finish and adapt it to a continuous Lean delivery pipeline.
  • Manage end-to-end localization workflows for Product, Design, Engineering, and Quality Assurance.
  • Serve as a liaison between freelancers, localization suppliers, linguists, subject-matter experts, and internal stakeholders.
  • Assess project risks in a proactive manner through prioritizing and linguistic quality assurance (LQA).
  • Work closely with Sales & Product to balance translation expenses and budgets.
  • Investigate, evaluate, and select appropriate technologies to improve the efficiency and cost-effectiveness of localization.
  • Define the most critical KPIs, monitor them, and give inputs for calculating the return on investment (ROI) on localization initiatives.
  • Begin marketing and legal translation efforts while taking cultural nuances into account.
  • One to two years of experience as a project manager for localization.
  • Over one year of experience as a manager of a technical team.
  • Working knowledge of translation management systems (TMS) and project management software.
  • Familiarity with Lean-Agile methodologies.
  • Prior experience working with remote teams to develop large-scale solutions.
  • Effective communication with technical and non-technical audiences.
